PRAHA CUT / IN DEVELOPMENT

Video editing,
directed in words.

01 / FROM FOOTAGE TO DRAFT

The edit starts
with intent.

Describe the story, pacing, focus, and output format. Praha Cut is being designed to inspect footage and transcripts, make an editing plan, apply editing operations, and render a draft you can revise.

EXAMPLE DIRECTION
“Turn this 12-minute recording into a 60-second launch video. Remove dead space, keep the benchmark section, zoom into the terminal when the results appear, add captions, and create a vertical version for Shorts.”

This illustrates the intended workflow. It is not a claim that every operation is publicly available today.

02 / AGENT WORKFLOW

01

Understand

Reason over user intent, transcript, and footage context to identify the moments that matter.

02

Plan

Construct a sequence of edits and choose the media tools needed to execute it.

03

Operate

Apply cuts, ordering, captions, reframing, and audio changes to an editable timeline.

04

Revise

Keep the timeline state and respond to further direction without resetting the edit.

03 / CREATIVE CONTROL

The timeline
isn't going away.

Natural language handles high-level intent. The timeline preserves precision and control. Praha Cut is designed to let you say “don't cut between these two sentences” or “restore the explanation before the demo” and then inspect the changed edit.

INTENT→EDITABLE TIMELINE→YOUR FINAL CUT
Describe the edit at the level humans think about it. Take control at the level editors need.

04 / ARCHITECTURE

Reasoning meets
an editing system.

Praha Cut is being built with Claude as the reasoning and tool-use layer. Praha Lab builds the media processing, timeline representation, editing operations, state, execution, and rendering around it.

05 / TOOL SYSTEM

An agent that
does the work.

These are representative operations in the intended editing system, not a published API specification.
